vanessa paradis is so engaging as a singer, chanteuse and all around cool mom and wife. though not officially married to johnny depp, who cares!, she is an example of cool, french style. i found these photos taken by karl lagerfeld that remind me of marlene dietrich, another cool chanteuse and actress.
