corinne day was an incredible photographer. she passed away much, much too young. i remember when she first shot these photos of kate moss. i was stunned by the simplicity of them considering they followed in the footsteps of the 'supermodel' hysteria and larger-than-life girls who had attitudes and supernova personalities. then you have corinne day shooting a fifteen year-old kate moss and this is what comes of it. it's simple, honest, beautiful in it's everydayness. i do believe that in the aftermath of showmanship and drama and hype, simplicity, in art as in life, always remains true. blessings xo, am
